What does “clean beauty” mean at L’ATELIER?

Clean beauty at L’ATELIER means using non-toxic, transparent, and botanical ingredients while maintaining sustainable packaging and ethical production practices.

Which ingredients are banned in your products?

We maintain a strict banned ingredients list, including parabens, sulfates, phthalates, formaldehyde, chemical UV filters, aluminum compounds, triclosan, and other potentially harmful chemicals.

Are your products cruelty-free and ethically sourced?

Yes. Every product we offer is cruelty-free, and we ensure that ingredients and production processes meet high ethical and environmental standards.

Do you carry vegan products?

Many of our products are vegan, but not all. We clearly label vegan options so you can shop with confidence.

What is your shipping policy?

All orders are shipped via USPS, UPS or FedEx priority mail. 

Orders pickup are also available.

Orders will be shipped within three (3) to seven (7)days of being placed. Orders placed after 12pm on Friday will be processed the following Monday. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be processed on the following Monday. 

In some cases, we may experience delays due to our supplier or busier time of the year.

We do not ship outside of the United States at this time.

What is your return policy?

It is our goal at L’ATELIER des artistes to provide products that you will enjoy and continue to love.  We understand that there may be an occasion when you change your mind or something is not quite what you expected.

Online Sales:  We accept returns for non-sale product(s) that are unused, unopened, and in the state that they were delivered within fourteen (14) days of purchase date.  Please notify us of your return at info@atelier-da.com or call us at 203-343-2346 EST. Upon examination of the returned product(s) we will issue a credit in store of the product cost, including taxes. We do not offer refunds on products or on shipping cost.  

If the product is damaged at the time of delivery, please contact immediately by phone 203-343-2346 or by email info@atelier-da.com to proceed to the verification of your claim.

What types of treatments are offered at L’ATELIER’s Holistic Spa?

Our spa offers a variety of treatments designed to support your mind, body, and spirit, including holistic facials, lymphatic drainage massage, guasha massage, bio peels, brow tints and shaping, brow henna, lash tints and lifts, back spa, hydrodermabrasion, aromatherapy, energy healing, and other holistic wellness services. Every session is tailored to your individual needs.

Are your spa treatments clean and non-toxic?

Yes. All products used in our spa are carefully selected to be clean, non-toxic, and ethically sourced. We avoid harmful chemicals and synthetic fragrances, aligning with our commitment to wellness and sustainability.

How can I make an appointment for the spa or Beauty?

Appointments can be made directly through our website, by phone, or via email. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time and practitioner.

Are spa services suitable for sensitive skin or special conditions?

Yes. All treatments are designed to accommodate sensitive skin and individual health needs. During your consultation, we’ll discuss any conditions or preferences to ensure your session is safe and enjoyable.

How do you ensure a safe and hygienic spa environment?

We follow strict hygiene protocols, sanitize all treatment areas and tools between sessions, and use products that are safe, clean, and eco-conscious.

What beauty services does L’ATELIER offer?

L’ATELIER offers a curated range of clean beauty services, including professional makeup applications, personalized makeup lessons, and styling sessions. Each service is designed to enhance your natural beauty while using high-performance, non-toxic products.

What is included in a 1-on-1 Makeup Lesson?

Our 90-minute private makeup lesson is a personalized session where you’ll learn techniques tailored to your features, skin tone, and lifestyle. We teach step-by-step applications using clean beauty products so you can confidently recreate your look at home.

What happens during a Makeover Consultation & Color Analysis?

This in-depth 60-minute session includes a professional analysis of your undertones, ideal color palette, and product recommendations. We’ll help you identify the shades and techniques that complement your complexion and personal style.

What is a Pro Makeup Application?

Our Pro Makeup Application is a full service designed for special events, photoshoots, or celebrations. It includes both traditional and airbrush techniques, individual false lashes, and camera-ready finishing for long-lasting wear.

Do you use clean or non-toxic products for makeup services?

Yes. Every product we use is carefully selected for performance, purity, and transparency. We use only clean, cruelty-free, and ethically sourced products that align with L’ATELIER’s commitment to wellness and sustainability.

Do you offer hairstyling services?

Yes. We provide on-site hairstyling options to complete your look:

  • Hairdo (30 min): Soft texture, waves, or curls — no pins.

  • Updo (45 min): Half-up or full updo styles with texture and curls.

  • Textured Blowout – Short to Mid-Length (45 min): On clean, damp hair.

  • Textured Blowout – Long or Full Texture (1 hr): A smooth, polished finish with volume and movement.

Can I book both makeup and hair services together?

Absolutely. You can combine beauty and hairstyling services for the same appointment. We recommend booking in advance to ensure availability.

Are these services available for weddings, photoshoots, or special events?

Yes. We offer customized packages for weddings, editorials, and photography sessions. Our professional applications are camera-ready and designed to last through your event.

Do you travel for events or on-location services?

For weddings, editorials, or group sessions, we can arrange on-location beauty services upon request. Please contact us for availability and travel rates.

What is your rescheduling policy?

A non-refundable deposit is required to book our services. If you changed your mind and would like to reschedule your service (up to 48h before your appointment), you will be able to do this through the link in the bottom of your confirmation email > Edit/Cancel the appointment.

If you reschedule more than 2 times, your appointment will be cancelled and the $50 deposit will be retained to cover a portion of the business loss.

If you would like to reschedule your appointment less than 48hr in advance, this counts then as a last minute cancellation and you will be charged up to 100% the amount of the scheduled service.

What is your cancellation policy?

A non-refundable deposit is required to book our services.

If you decide to cancel the appointment, the $50 will not be refunded and will not be able to used toward another appointment.

If you cancel your appointment less than 48hr in advance,
you will be charged up to 75% the amount of the scheduled service.

If you cancel less than 24hrs in advance, you will be charged up to 100% the amount of the scheduled service.

What happens if i’m sick the day of my appointment?

We would like to insist on the fact that if you are experiencing symptoms from any transmissible bacterial infection or virus, you won’t be admitted for your service.
We ask you to please reschedule your appointment as soon as you are aware of these symptoms. If symptoms arise within 48hrs before your scheduled appointment, we will still have to retain the $50 deposit in order to cover a small portion of the business loss.

what happens if i don’t show up, without cancelling or rescheduling?

If you don’t come to your appointment without notice, or cancel less than 24hrs in advance, you will be charged up to 100% the amount of the scheduled service.

If you cancel your appointment less than 48hr in advance, you will be charged up to 75% of the scheduled service.
